Foodies at Joe's

As early adopters on the food scene, we tried out the mammoth new Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, a popular Miami institution that opened in DC three weeks ago in a grand old bank space at 15th and H. Amazon worldwide public sector chief Teresa Carlson and husband, Chris (not pictured), joined us in the experiment, disrupted by regular sightings of others we knew in the dining room. Specimens included, above, NTELX CEO Rob Quartel and wife, Michela English (you know her from Discovery and now Fight for Children) and their son, Will, who acts as their personal food advisor since he just finished studying at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.
