Mahesh Ramanujam Named New CEO of US Green Building Council

The US Green Building Council Board of Directors has announced Mahesh Ramanujam as its new CEO, replacing current CEO and co-founder Rick Fedrizzi. Before joining the USGBC, Ramanujam was COO for consulting firm Emergys, where he worked on initiatives between IBM and Lenovo. Since being at the USGBC, he's worked as COO, SVP of Technology and president of the Green Building Certification Institute. Rick says Mahesh's personal values and understanding of the work cinched the gig for him. Mahesh will take the reigns at the end of 2016. "As USGBC's CEO, I pledge to continually modernize and enhance our capabilities and performance to ensure we deliver the future that our founders envisioned," he says.
