Innovative Buys at Valdosta

A JV of Innovative Student Housing and Harrison Street Capital acquired College Station at Valdosta and renamed it The Gates at Valdosta. Innovative COO David Neef says the firm found the acquisition its usual way--(Craigslist?)--through property management. It took over management of the asset in March. The Class-A property is less than a mile from Valdosta State University, and the purchase includes the option to develop an additional 500-plus bed phase that could be delivered as early as 2015.
