Coolest Student Housing Amenities, Part 2

Student residences need exciting and supportive places to work in teams or small groups, says ADD Inc principal B.K. Boley (the lead architect for Westfield State University Hall lobby pictured). The lobby was created for students to meet and enjoy the views of the wooded landscape. The colorful chairs are meant to resemble wild flowers in nature, B.K. tells us. (Just like wild flowers, don't eat them.)

B.K. tells us residence Halls work best when they are filled with daylight and feature a combination of high-technology and fun, comfortable, contemporary furniture you wished you had in your house growing up. This stone hearth is part of the exterior courtyard to extend the group gatherings to the outdoors, as well. Who’s up for making s’mores?
