Luxury Homes Moving Quick in Some Markets

Luxury home demand is up across the country and moving quickly in areas with strong job and wage growth. Trulia examined the priciest homes listed for sale in 100 metro areas and checked back to see how many remained on the market 60 days later. Results show  the Bay Area markets of San Jose and Oakland at the forefront of demand. In a rare piece of good economic news, Detroit was also noted for the quick movement of its priciest homes. Still, the depressed prices in the area are considered to be the driving factor. [WSJ]
