Retail Goes to the Dogs!

Each Wednesday in August, nearly 30 JLL-managed retail properties are encouraging shoppers to bring Rover and Fido to the mall for the "Dog Days" program, which will test market receptiveness to dog-friendly shopping. Events included "Fashion Hounds," a pet fashion show and costume contest. (Ziggy, top left, won at Roseville, MN's Rosedale Center.)

Above, one pup takes part in a photo shoot at Port Arthur, TX's Central Mall Port Arthur; "Paw-Parazzi" features themed backdrops, props and pet costumes. The evenings will also include a pet adoption night, as well as nutrition and fitness tips from local vets to help keep dogs healthy.
