In his last hurrah as BOMA International chair and chief elected officer, Oliver & Co's John Oliver honored BOMA members who have made a difference in the organization. Above, he presents the Distinguished Service Award to Patricia Schwarze, the former executive director of BOMA Suburban Chicago.
Brookfield's Robert Cushman of BOMA Greater Los Angeles was honored as the Pacific Southwest Region Member of the Year.
And Detroit-Wayne Joint Building Authority's Gregory McDuffee of BOMA Metro Detroit was dubbed North Central Region Member of the Year. Other awards presented:
Southern Region Member of the Year: Highwoods Properties' Michele Lowery, BOMA Raleigh-Durham
Southwest Region Member of the Year: Peloton Commercial Real Estate's Mark Wilshire, BOMA Dallas
Chair's Award: Reliance Management's Eileen Lewis and Liberty Property Trust's Shelby Christensen for spearheading BOMA International's industrial committee
