IREM's Next Generation of Property Managers

IREM’s Student and Academic Outreach Advisory Board partnered with the IREM Central Florida chapter to host an academic outreach event at the University of Central Florida Dr. P. Phillips Institute for Research and Education in Real Estate. The event included a panel on real estate careers, skills, and education needed to excel in management; the chapter also provided 20 UCF students with complimentary IREM student memberships. Afterwards, students and IREM’s international delegation (with members from Brazil, Japan, Korea, China, Canada, and Jamaica) toured Plaza on University, a new mixed-use student housing community in Orlando owned and managed by American Campus Communities. Members got exclusive tours of both the student housing and retail outlets on the resort-style property.
