BOMA International's TOBY Awards in Washington, DC, were an opportunity to welcome the association's newest chairman and chief elected officer, McCarthy Cook SVP of asset management Brian Harnetiaux, seen here with his wife, Erin, and their three children and being sworn in by Hokanson Cos' Boyd Zoccola and Corporate Sustainability Strategies' Brenna Walraven, both BOMA Fellows and past chairs.

His ceremony also included a special message from his bosses, McCarthy Cook co-presidents Thomas McCarthy and Edward Cook III, who couldn't be there but praised Brian for his leadership, energy, positive attitude and competitiveness. Knowing that Brian's new role means much more travel, they gifted him with a beautiful wristwatch to make sure he's always on time.
