BOMA Goes To China

In an effort to expand its international reach, BOMA International just introduced its operational best practices (via its standard operating procedure manual, translated into Mandarin) at BOMA China's first annual conference. On hand: BOMA chair Rich Greninger (of Carr Properties, with mic) and prez Henry Chamberlain (second from left), who joined BOMA China prez Dominic Lau, BOMA/San Francisco leaders, and 200 attendees. Other BOMA pubs, including its preventitive maintenance guidebook, will also be translated in order to set up performance benchmarking and training for China's commercial real estate industry. Rich and Henry also joined the delgation for tours of Beijing, Tianjin, and Shanghai. (We're jealous, but we don't think our property manager would be keen on our digging a hole behind our office building to get there.)
