BOMA celebrated this year's BOMA-360 designated buildings during a special recognition ceremony. Colliers' Robert Brierley (center, who's chair of the BOMA 360 Council, incoming vice chairman and BOMA Fellow) reports that there are now over 1,100 designations globally; studies show that BOMA 360 buildings consistently outperform other properties without the designation in tenant satisfaction, value for rent paid, property maintenance and building amenities. Companies that accounted for the most building designations and renewals this past year were Piedmont Government Services, Brookfield and CBRE. Internationally, BOMA 360 also saw 34 buildings designated in Canada, Colombia and Japan, up from only three buildings last year.
