Ten-X Hires Industry Veteran To Lead Commercial Unit

Ten-X has named Steve Jacobs as general manager of the firm’s commercial unit.

Known for its online real estate marketplace and broker/tech partnerships, Ten-X said Jacobs will be responsible for expanding its offerings to brokers, sellers and buyers. The company also said Jacobs will work to launch a new transactional platform to move traditional real estate transactions online.

Jacobs was a managing director at CWCapital and has decades of experience with commercial real estate. His appointment follows a significant shakeup among the Ten-X executive team. The firm brought on Camille Crenshaw to head sales and Maureen Waters as chief marketing officer in the second half of 2016.
