Government Still a Great Client

The government loves data. How else can they keep track of the many clothing fashions of John McCain?QTS is continuing to feed off that need. In a JV with i2 Sentinel Associates,Kansas-based QTS just opened what it calls a continuous transformational environment lab at its Richmond data center. It will target cloud computing for the Defense Department and the US intelligence community (the digitized version of that warehouse in Indiana Jones). This isnt the first quasi-fed business at the 1.3M SF Richmond campus.We reported last year how the company secured a deal with ChenegaLogistics--which handles data traffic for various fed agencies--for data center hosting.
