North Carolina-based Cook Out, which has five Middle Tennessee locations, inked a deal for property at 5802 Charlotte Pike, which is occupied by a KFC. Cook Out will not occupy the site (it leased back to KFC), but is planning a restaurant elsewhere on Charlotte, the Nashville Business Journal reports.
Cook Out's specialty is fresh-beef hamburgers made on grills. The company has about 180 locations, mostly in the Southeast. [NBJ]
