You guessed it. Media, technology and business services firms were the most prolific acquirers of office space in Manchester in the third quarter, taking a mighty 362K SF.
That translates as 75% of total take-up in the three-month period, with media and technology operators alone taking 63% of available space.
The figures, from Colliers International, were boosted by the pre-let of 225K SF to Booking.com, and will surprise no one who has been watching the growth of the Manchester office market.
Other substantial moves included Odeon leasing 26.5K SF at 8 First St., Farm Group pre-letting 22.5K SF at the ABC Building and In-Touch Networks taking 22K SF at 3 Hardman Square.
Colliers predicts that total Manchester office take-up this year will reach a record high of 1.5M SF.
