The £96M contract to build 400K SF of offices at Circle Square, Oxford Road, Manchester has been awarded to Sisk by developer Bruntwood, as the Manchester property business launches its biggest and boldest new build yet.
The building project will complete in 2021, Construction Enquirer reports.
Bruntwood's move will accelerate the expansion of Manchester's science growth corridor along the Oxford Road.
Earlier this year a groundbreaking £50M green loan and refinancing was agreed with Bruntwood-controlled Manchester Science Partnerships whilst nearby work started on site at the 172K SF Henry Royce Institute. Both are expected to open the door to yet more growth in Manchester’s £4B plus science sector.
With Manchester Science Partnerships saying that a significant pre-let on the 93K SF Citylabs 2 is imminent, Manchester's science corridor is growing fast.
