RXR Realty's been popping up on the radar frequently, thanks to its recent interest acquisition in 340 Madison Ave, purchase of 1330 Avenue of the Americas, and its impending $900M purchase of the Starrett-Lehigh Building. CEO Scott Rechler (seated, second from left with YMWREA’s officers) detailed these acquisitions to 150 real estate pros at last week’s YMWREA luncheon, noting that the closed deals were “trophy buildings with broken capital structures” and calling Starrett-Lehigh an ideal property to serve NYC’s growing demand among tech companies and creative media content providers.
