More Arts District Construction

Spire Realty Group announced its plans to develop a six-building office, hotel, retail, and parking complex (named The Spire—no, not Shire, sorry Tolkien fans) on 12 acres  in the NE section of downtown Dallas adjacent to the Arts District. No dollar amount was released, but the initial phase, called Block D, will become a 21-story office building featuring 360k SF of office space, 25k SF of retail, and 36 residential units. No timeline for the project was released although key players were named: WDG will provide architectural planning and interior design; Austin Commercial is the GC; and Peloton Commercial Real Estate will lease the project.
