The Village at Fairview could see office development soon, MG Herring president & CEO Gar Herring tells us. Gar says the Town has been a great partner because leaders recognize that office would benefit the hotels, the restaurants and the residents of nearby townhomes. Gar says the willingness of local municipalities is contributing to the plethora of corporate relos as business owners flee California's red tape. Retail trends he’s seeing: more grocery-based projects, fewer big anchor tenants opening new projects, and retailers cycling through stores to close underperforming locations.
