Look Who We Found at the TREC Giving Gala

The Real Estate Council's annual Giving Gala fundraiser Thursday at the Hilton Anatole entertained 1,200 CRE types in a sold-out event. Here's TREC top banana Linda McMahon (right, with TREC consultant Macey Davis, Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr’s Michael Krywucki, DISD's Paula Blackmon, and Corinth Properties' Frank Mihalopoulos, who served as the auction chair). Linda believes the event will have raised more than any previous Giving Gala.

The Greysteel Co’s Boyan Radic, KeyBank’s Katie Thompson, and Greysteel Co's Doug Banerjee at the Bisnow table. (We used this photo to distract them while we stole the remaining food on their plate.) Boyan and Doug recently sold the 94-unit French Colony Apartments in West Dallas (with colleagues Andrew Mueller and John Marshall Doss).

Rounding out the Bisnow table was Cadence McShane Construction's Jessica Smith, DIRTT by GL Seaman’s Mary Miano, Cadence McShane Construction's Adam LeCours, HudsonPeters Commercial's Kimberly Martin, and her newlywed hubby, David Martin Commercial Real Estate's David Martin.

We found (standing) Rosemont’s Helen Rivero and Angel Benschneider, (seated) Jason Kuester, Natasha Khan, Cresa Dallas principal Susan Arledge, and Rosemont’s Kirby White. Kirby tells us Rosemont recently inked 60k SF of new leases at The Summit at Las Colinas, including a 22k SF full-floor lease for a major regional office for General Motors, and the HQ of Paradigm Energy Partners for 11k SF.

Here’s Cushman & Wakefield’s Robbie Baty, Mary, Granite’s Jim Barron, IA Interior Architects’ Skyler Renschler Baty, and soon-to-be with E Smith Realty Sarah Catherine Norris. Sarah tells us she’ll be the president of agency management and leasing, starting on Wednesday.

Country music star Roger Creager entertained the crowd with original tunes as well as some well-loved Journey covers.
