PRIVILEGE HAS ITS PERKS

The latest addition to Charlotte's nightclub scene is "Privilege", recently opening in the historic former Mecklenburg Investment Co building uptown. Club owner Shawn Kennedy leased 6,900 SF in the223 S Brevard St building, originally built in 1922. The club will feature DJs as well as live acts. Legacy Real Estate Advisors' David Tschirhart repped the building owner with colleague Adam Williams. (That's Adam on the left, his wife Genevieve, and David at a recent opening of Vapiano uptown, another deal the boys did together.) Shawn is known for such other Charlotte hotspots as Marigny, a New Orleans-themed club in South End, as well as Dharma Lounge, another South End nightclub.
