Some look at the 60 acres behind this sign and think great place for a Valentine's Day date. More successful minds see 850k SF of light industrial and warehouse space. But don't plan on seeing any dirt move for at least a year. Property owner Midsouth Realty recently won a rezoning to allow industrial uses, after having originally considered the land for office space. The new zoning gives Midsouth more flexibility in building out the property, which should take several years. The focus now is on a marketing plan. The site is close to Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, the interstate network, and local rail hubs. No word on costs yet. |
