Jack's New Yorker Deli is coming to Charlotte--from Atlanta. The deli bills its sandwiches as "New York, with Southern charm." (So meatballs and mint julips?) It's opening its first location outside greater Atlanta with a 2,500 SF lease at Transamerica Square. "Small retailers from Atlanta look to Charlotte because of the similarities to Atlanta 15 years ago," Legacy Real Estate Advisors' David Tschirhart tells us. He and colleague Adam Williams repped franchisee Mark Nichols;Lincoln Harris' Chris Vasbinder repped the landlord. "They look at Charlotte as a great market to get their foot in the door and grow as the city grows," David adds.
