Friday, Real Estate Econometrics economic guru Sam Chandan brought 30 of his Wharton MBA students to The Penn Club to engage with industry leaders in off-the-record chats about current industry challenges. They met with nine experts, including Studley’s Woody Heller (he and Sam are third and fourth from the right), M&T Bank’s Gino Martocci, CB Richard Ellis’ Matt Van Buren, Real Capital Analytics’ Bob White, and Vornado’s Ben Schall. Sam, who teaches real estate finance, tells us it’s the first year for this particular event, oriented towards more informal discussion and dialogue compared to its big on-campus events.
