After receiving community feedback, The Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore and landscape architecture firm Mahan Rykiel Associates unveiled new designs for Rash Field at the Inner Harbor, which include space to accommodate soccer, bocce ball and other recreational activities.
The Play Lab & Cafe will offer a section for food trucks and a playground, SouthBmore reports. A rock climbing wall, running trail and garden next to The Rusty Scupper are also part of the concept.
Groundbreaking is expected to take place by fall 2017 and construction could take 18 months. [SB]
