GM Chad Barnhill tells us the foundation permit came in late last week and foundation work began yesterday. Vertical construction could be under way within two months, and it'll open Q3 '14 with video lottery, blackjack, craps, and poker on a 122k SF gaming floor, plus bars and restaurants. Joining Caesars in the venture are Rock Gaming, CVPR Gaming Holdings, STRON-MD, and PRT TWO. Translation? Chad's been on the job since October from Bossier City, La., and tells us Caesars likes the GM to be on the ground early for inner-city projects.
