Atlanta's first cidery has planted itself at 1465 Howell Mill Rd for a fall harvest. Urban Tree Cidery has leased 4,500 SF in former home furnishings store Eclectia, a space owned by George Rohrig's Cartel Properties. The husband and wife-owned bar (Dr. Tim and Maria Resuta, here smashing walls instead of apples) are shooting for a fall opening. The couple plans to harvest, crush and ferment apples on site for a variety of ciders.
