Hines and Cousins released more details today about that Microsoft lease at Avalon we broke here. The Fortune 500 software giant is leasing 43k SF at 8000 Avalon, the 224k SF office project at the game-changing North Fulton mixed-use project. The deal puts 8000 Avalon—a $72M development in a JV between Hines and Cousins—at 19% leased as its construction goes underway. Colliers International's Drew Levine and Pete Shelton brokered for MSFT while Hines' John Heagy repped the landlord team.
