Hines Interests and North American Properties have downloaded Microsoft at Avalon. Sources tell us the developers secured a lease for some 50k SF with the Fortune 500 software maker in their new 210k SF spec office building at the Alpharetta mixed-use haven. We previously reported here that Microsoft was in talks to take space there early on. Hines' John Heagy repped the landlord JV, while Colliers International's Pete Shelton and Drew Levine brokered for the tenant. All parties declined to comment. The deal means Microsoft will officially move out of its longtime home at Sanctuary Park.
