WELCOME TO THE HOTEL CHINA-FORNIA

While we were touring Philly (we just launched a publication there),Atlanta Hospitality Alliance held a program on at the InterContinental Buckhead. Above, HREC Investment Advisors' (and AHA president-elect) Monty Levy, West Paces Hotel Group's  Horst Schulze, Carlton Fields' Dan Weede (AHA president), and InterContinental SVP Bob Chitty, who were part of the panel focused on the challenges for hotel chains overseas. Bob highlighted IHG's plans to expand in China, including a  new brand just for the Chinese marketplace. Dan told the audience that expanding in an international arena will be one of the few, if not only, ways Atlanta's hospitality players (including service providers to developers and flags) can foster growth over the next decade.
Who is this fresh young face? Believe it or not, this is Sabrina Altenbach, daughter of Atlanta CRE Vet Two Realty Partners'Sharon Altenbach. Sabrina just joined Lincoln Property Co in Atlanta and will work with other CRE vets  Leigh Braswell  and  David Danhof. A UGA grad, Sabrina most recently was with Prudential Mortgage Capital as an  investment analyst. ?My mom never directly influenced me. However, she is one of the only people I know who loves what she does. She is my inspiration.?
