True Table Sneak Peek

This week we had a chance to see Atlanta's newest gastronomic destination True Table. And over red chili-spiced shrimp and edamame dumplings, we chatted with True Table's general manager Chris Payne about Fox Restaurant Concepts first foray into Atlanta's eating scene. “We felt that this [concept] was needed. There's nothing like this on the East Coast,” Chris says. True Table is a farm-to-table concept restaurant that mainly sources local ingredients, and is part of the new Lenox Square renovation lineup (taking 5,700 SF at the corner). The restaurant offers fresh-made drinks and plates that use nothing artificial (in fact, there's no brand name soda offerings either... just don't tell the Coke folks), including hummus, pizzas, quinoa burger, turkey lasagna, and even street tacos. Chris says Fox is eyeing other cities along the East Coast to expand True Table as well.
