THREE PLAYERS FOR THE GULCH

As we first reported, Hines Interests is indeed pursuing the Gulch project (map above) with the Georgia Department of Transportation. And the firm is partnering with famed downtown developer HJ Russell and The Dawson Co as well. They're not the only ones with their hats in the ring either. A partnership with Cousins Properties, The Integral Group, and FC Asset Services has submitted for consideration, as did a partnership of Atlantic Station developerJacoby Development with the John Buck Co and TerminusDevelopment Partners. Of the three parties, Cousins has history with the Gulch property, having previously attempted to buy and develop the land for Norfolk Southern in 2003.
