While we were at Peachtree Pointe visiting Gene, we snapped this of the Savannah College of Art & Design's new gallery space. It opened a few weeks ago and provides a place for students, alum, and professors at SCAD to show their fine art. If you're wondering about the name Dewberry on the window, Gene says SCAD believes artists benefit from having a broad list of gallery names on their resumes. So in the interest of variety, the school named the spot for Peachtree Pointe?s developer—and former Georgia Tech football star—John Dewberry. Gene also told us that Peachtree Pointe is getting a new retailer in May: London Calling, which (you'll never guess) features all British designers.
