Peachtree Road Race runners call it Cardiac Hill because of the incline. That same stretch of Peachtree in south Buckhead is causing similar stress for restaurant owners (and landlords) these days. Pizza Fusion, at the base of the Astoria mixed-use development, became the latest casualty when it closed its doors this week. Other nearby closings include T.G.I. Friday's, Vita, and Wolfgang Puck. While serving up their final organic pies, the folks at Pizza Fusion explained things logically: ?We just weren't making enough money.? |
