We snapped this yesterday and felt a bit nostalgic. The great Atlanta Journal-Constitution—or one of its predecessors (the Atlanta Journal and the Atlanta Constitution)— has been downtown since 1868 and in this current building at 72 Marietta Street since 1972. But the newspaper?s staff has begun its move to leased space in the ?burbs, the 130k SF 223 Perimeter Center Parkway, across the street from Perimeter Mall. This is the latest of many cost-cutting measures for the AJC, and we wish it well. |
