CB2 COMING SOON

With retail weighing heavily on our minds yesterday, we snapped the future home of retailer CB2 at 1010 Midtown,  the condo tower developed by Daniel Corp. and Selig Enterprises. The Crate & Barrel offshoot, which will open the Atlanta store late this summer, sells modern furniture and accessories aimed at the young and hip. (Yet somehow they let us in.) Crane Construction of Northbrook, Ill., is building out the 14K SF space to the tune of $1.2 million, the building permit says. CB2 is one of the first national retailers—and just the type the Midtown Alliance wants—on the burgeoning Midtown Mile.
