Big Money, Small MOB

Another medical office REIT has gained further foothold in Atlanta's burgeoning market. We learned that a fund co-sponsored by American Healthcare Investors and Griffin Capital Corp purchased Country Club Medical Office Building, a 16k SF MOB in Stockbridge (but it doesn't include a golf course nor a private yacht club). The facility is close to Piedmont Henry Hospital and is nearly 85% leased. The all-cash buy was brokered by Ackerman & Co's Andrew Murphy.
