While lending was down in 2009, commercial real estate debt has begun to look attractive again on a risk-adjusted basis. This is particularly true for the insurance industry. ?For the better properties, 10-year rates are running 5.0-5.5% for commercial property, while the agency rates are still in the mid- to upper-4% range for multifamily.?
