The Trump University saga is far from over—a midlevel appeals court just gave Donald Trump permission to once again seek dismissal of the New York lawsuit, which claims he tricked students out of $40M.
New York’s Attorney General Eric Schneiderman sued Trump in August 2013, saying his school ran without a license and misled students by selling real estate investing expertise for $35k a head, Bloomberg reports.
“It’s no surprise that Donald Trump is using every legal option to avoid standing trial for operating a sham for-profit university,” Schneiderman said, adding he’s confident the Court of Appeals will reject all of Trump’s claims. [Bloomberg]
