Multifamily Tech Startup Raises $9.1M In Latest Funding Round

Multifamily data startup Rentlytics—one of Bisnow's 14 tech startups to look out forjust scored $9.1M in a series A funding round led by Walter & Dunlop, bringing total funding to $13.1M since launching 12 months ago.

Rentlytics’ multifamily-focused app allows managers and owners of multifamily assets to analyze portfolio-related data to make better decisions, GlobeSt reports.

Walker & Dunlop, which usually sticks to capital market lending, plans to work with Rentlytics to put together a module for lenders on their app, an expansion from catering only to property managers.

CEO Willy Walker says the decision to invest Rentlytics isn't an indicator of future moves in the real estate tech space, but a strategic play as the industry looks for ways to "simplify and streamline the analysis of large amounts of portfolio data in real time." [GlobeSt]
