Two Companies Ink Deals In New Cool Springs Building

The transportation engineering company Volkert Global and health IT company Holland Square Group signed leases in Crescent Communities' brand-new, 155k SF Two Greenway Centre in the ultratight Cool Springs office market. The property doesn't even open until next month, and the two companies are the first ones to take space there. Together, they will occupy about 14k SF.

Volkert is basing its new international division in the building. Company CEO Jerry Stump told the Nashville Business Journal that Nashville is an internationally known location and has advantages that pushed Volkert to choose Nashville over sites in Austin, Atlanta, Orlando and NYC.

Charlotte-based Crescent is seeking about $30/SF for its new office space, a price that takes into account high construction costs during boomtime in Nashville, and the fact that Cool Springs, a desirable submarket, has a minuscule vacancy rate of about 1%. [NBJ]
