Rumor has it that ski slopes will begin disappearing soon, so it was awfully nice of Ted Harris (here with his daughters Carly and Sophie) to make time for us while on his annual skiing trip to Park City. We asked about his recent move from Studley to Cassidy Turley Fuller. After nine years as one of Denver’s top tenant reps (he leased more than 300k SF this year), he “felt like it was just time to move on.” He's looking forward to working with "the intellectual capital" at CT, such as the in-house finance. As for our question of why he traveled all the way to Utah to ski, Ted says, "We have no snow" in Denver.

One of Ted's biggest deals in 2012 was inking a 65k SF sublease for Zachry Engineering at the old Denver Post building at 101 W Colfax. He expects 2013 “to be a great year. There’s a lot of growth and it’s pent up.” His biggest wish for the holidays would be for Washington “to get its act together” and imbue confidence in the banking system to ease up capital and credit. That would benefit the office world directly. “When you open up the liquidity, then a lot more things will happen.”
