Long-Awaited Lake Highlands Sprouts Opens

After much anticipation, Lake Highlands Town Center is getting a Sprouts Farmers Market. Sprouts, which is in preliminary talks to merge with Albertsons, will open 30K SF at 7110 Skillman St. in Dallas’ Lake Highlands neighborhood after a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday.

Cypress Real Estate’s 60K SF mixed-use project with multiple phases of residential units at the corner of Walnut Hill Lane and Skillman Street has been in the making for a decade and pulled together permits and funding in April 2016

Focus groups with Lake Highlands residents as early as 2008 showed Sprouts as one of the most wanted grocery stores.

Taco Diner, Hollywood Feed, Yogurtland, Joint Chiropractic, Ideal Dental and Verizon will also go into the 69-acre Lake Highlands Town Center. 

CBRE’s Jean Smith in Dallas repped Sprouts. CBRE’s Jeff Kittleson and Claire Galpern are the retail leasing agents for The Shops at Lake Highlands Town Center.
