Frisco mayor Maher Maso, Baylor Scott & White execs Jim Turner and Joel Allison and, of course, Jerry Jones and company lifted their shiny shovels in unison yesterday during a symbolic groundbreaking of the 300k SF Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research Facility at The Star.

Baylor, Scott & White Health as well as executives from the Dallas Cowboys will reveal plans for a new sports health campus at The Star in Frisco.

In a JV with the city, Frisco ISD and the Jones family, Baylor Scott & White hopes to create the safest place to play sports in the nation to open in early 2018. Construction on the $350M Cowboys world HQ reached a halfway point in construction last July and tenants are set to move in within a couple of months.
