$5 Billion Mile: Dallas Cowboy's $350M Star in Frisco Hits Halfway Mark

The Star in Frisco, the $350M world HQ of the Dallas Cowboys and Frisco’s special events center, has reached a significant milestone. Construction is halfway complete and the project remains on schedule for completion in fall 2016. The 91-acre development is part of Frisco’s highly publicized $5 Billion Mile, which includes more than $5B of planned development on a mile stretch of the Dallas North Tollway, according to the Dallas Business Journal. The corporate HQ portion is a six-story, 435k SF building that will house the club’s operations and overlook the indoor practice facility and fields. The 557k SF indoor multipurpose event center will have 12,000 seats. The Cowboys have partnered with the Omni for a luxury hotel on site and there will be a three-story retail portion on the west side of the plaza. Dallas-based Lincoln Property Co has been tasked with leasing the development. [DBJ]
