Ashkenazy Acquisitions
Corp has won approval to hold the long-term lease on Fanueil Hall Marketplace from the City of Boston Redevelopment Authority. The BRA approval recognizes that AAC has the finances to manage and improve the historic property. It will buy the lease from GGP, which acquired it in ?04 from the Rouse Co.***

Dyax Corp will relo its HQ from Kendall Square in Cambridge to 55 Network Dr in Burlington. For the 10-year, 45k SF lease JLL?s Peter Bekarian and Bryan Sparkes repped Dyax while JLL?s Tamie Thompson and Tyler Spring repped the landlord, the Nordblom Co. Nordblom?s Ogden Hunnewell and Adele Olivier also managed the deal for the landlord.

Living Proof, which develops and distributes beauty products, will relo within Cambridge into 20k SF at 301 Binney St in January. It has agreed to the seven-year lease with BioMed Realty Trust, which owns the building through a JV with Prudential Real Estate Investors. The Seaport District strikes again drawing ad firm Allen & Gerritsen from its 25-year home, Watertown. In a year, the 120-person agency will move into Seaport East and it expects to hire 50 more staff people.***Clark & Lavey Benefits Solutions signed a long-term lease at 7 Henry Clay Dr in Merrimack, NH for 11k SF of Class-A office space. CBRE/NE?s Roger Dieker, repped the tenant. Landlord Adamian Construction & Development Corp was repped by CBRE/NE?s Mike Tamposi.

Eliza Corp of Beverly signed a new lease for 39k SF at 75 Sylvan St in Danvers. Lincoln Property's Rob Cronin repped Eliza in the HQ relo. Colliers International repped landlord Brookwood Financial.

FINANCE

The City of Boston and two non-profits won a $20.5M grant from HUD to acquire and rehab the 129-unit Woodledge Apartments in Dorchester. It was part of a $122M block of grants announced by HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan.

Scituate Wind has issued a $3M Qualified Energy Conservation Bond by MassDevelopment to develop and operate a wind power project to serve the wastewater treatment plant and accrue credits to the Town under the state's Green Communities Act.

Paradigm Capital Advisors has formed Paradigm Industrial Partners I with a US-based insurer and other investors. They will acquire individual buildings and small portfolios of industrial properties in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Nora systems? new 100k SF of warehouse and office space at 9 Northeastern Blvd in Salem, NH has been fit out by Integrated Builders for landlord Equity Industrial Partners. The architect for the recently completed 74k SF of warehouse and 26k SF of office was The McKenna Group.

Greenwich Country Day School recently saw the completion of its new 91k SF academic and performing art center designed by ARC/Architectural Resources Cambridge. The buildings are part of a larger master planning project that also includes new landscaping, athletic fields and revised traffic circulation patterns. PEOPLE Trish McHugh has joined Jones Lang LaSalle as VP to lead marketing for New England. Trish has over 20 years of marketing experience including as associate VP of leasing marketing at Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers in Washington, DC.
