CVS Caremark has  leased nearly 14k SF at Peachtree Center downtown for 20 years somewhere beneath this sign, and will occupy the anchor space at the Mall at Peachtree Center. Cushman & Wakefield's Dean McNaughton, Kirk Williams,  and  Peter Glover represented the landlord.
LEASES
 
Terminix International Co has  renewed nearly 15,800 SF at 3790 Data Dr in the Spalding Triantle Office Park for its  regional contact center. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank's  Aaron Sommer  brokered the deal for the exterminating company. M3 Millennium Cos' David Jones represented the landlord.

Baxter International will  develop a $1B, 1M SF  plasma fractionation facility at the Stanton Springs mixed-use development  off I-20 in Covington. The project is owned by the Joint Development Authority of Jasper, Morgan, Newton and Walton Counties, and TPA Realty Services.

Immune Recovery Institute has  leased 6k SF at Waterford Park, a 48k SF office park in Dunwoody. RG Real Estate's Ryan Goldstein and  Aaron Karasi brokered the deal.

Noble Technologies has inked an 11,600 SF  deal at Northwinds VI in North Fulton County. CBRE's Bennett Gottlieb  and  John Thornton brokered the deal for NobleTek, while Lincoln Property Co's  Hunter Henritze  and  Michael Howell  represented the landlord, Blackstone.

According to an SEC filing, Life Time Fitness is opening its  fifth mega fitness center at an unspecified location in Atlanta. The company reported Q1 revenue of $268M (an 11.6% increase).
SALES
 
Roberts Realty Investors has renewed and extended a nearly $3M loan  with Touchmark National Bank for land along Highway 20 in Cumming zoned for  210 apartment units. The loan has been extended until April of next year. The company will make fixed principal payments of $5k/month and a one-time principal reduction of $240k in October, according to SEC documents.

Marcus & Millichap's Tim Giambrone  brokered the sale of Hickory Plaza Shopping Center, a 53,600 SF center in Panama City, which includes Dollar General, Anytime Fitness, and Aaron Rents as a tenant, for its Atlanta-area owner.
 
MANAGEMENT
 
Ackerman & Co's  Josh Baine  and  Frank Farrell have taken over the leasing for Corporate Forum, a  188k SF Cumberland-area office park that Ackerman and Marcus Partners purchased last year. The property is currently  74% leased, and the new owners spent $600k in capital improvements.

Kerry Armstrong is leaving Duke Realty and heading over to its 3630 Peachtree development partner Pope & Land Enterprises in one of the  biggest CRE exec moves  in recent months. Kerry's move comes at a time when Duke has  deemphasized its office holdings in favor of industrial (Kerry helped develop or buy more than 4M SF of CRE during his 20-plus years at Duke).

Who let the dogs out? Again this year? The Georgia Veterinary Medical Association is hosting its second annual Atlanta Dog Jog, a one- and two-mile fun run/walk for dogs and their slave... uh, we mean humans, at Piedmont Park on May 12. Proceeds will benefit the GVMA Founation.
