14th Street Restaurant To Double As Co-Working Space By Day

Placeholder

A new co-working space is opening on 14th and V streets NW in an unconventional place.

Recently opened restaurant Mulebone—owned by Busboys and Poets founder Andy Shallal (whom we snapped at a Bisnow event in 2014)—will double as a shared workspace during the day before the restaurants opens, DC Inno reports.

From 8am to 5pm, the space—formerly Eatonville—is free for anyone who needs to get work done to stop in and grab a seat.

Larger tables and newly installed electric outlets will allow people to bring their laptops in and be productive. They have also installed TV monitors and a bulletin board for classifieds.

Free coffee will be provided, and the kitchen will offer a light, brunch-style menu. A collaborative happy hour will take place each day at 4pm to encourage networking. [DCI]
