Twenty years after Giant Food moved its HQ from Prince George's County to Pennsylvania, the grocery store company is coming back to the D.C. suburbs.

Giant's parent company, Ahold Delhaize USA, has decided to move the company's HQ to the office it previously occupied at 8301 Professional Place in Landover, the Washington Business Journal reports

The grocery store had moved to Middlesex Township, Pennsylvania, after it was acquired in 1998. With its move back to Landover, it will bring 220 jobs, including 78 new hires, to the area.

"We are proud that Giant Food is returning to a Prince George’s County that is as economically strong as we have ever been throughout our history," Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker said in a release.

Giant has 101 stores in the D.C. area, acting as the anchor for mixed-use projects in several D.C. neighborhoods such as Shaw, Columbia Heights and the H Street corridor.
