WeWork Signs 93k SF Lease At 1775 Tysons

Co-working giant WeWork just signed a 93k SF lease for its first Fairfax County location

The new co-working space will be in Lerner Enterprises' 1775 Tysons Blvd in Tysons, above, a 17-story, 476k SF office tower that delivered this summer. In February, Lerner signed Computer Sciences Corp for 62k SF and last July it landed EY for 125k SF in the building.

“WeWork is at the forefront of a movement to change the way we work, as well as the spaces in which we work," principal Mark Lerner said in a release. "It is the latest example of the many industry-leading companies that have chosen to locate in Tysons II over the years."

WeWork's 92,517 SF co-working space will be the co-working provider's third-largest space in the region after the 120k SF Metropolitan Square location it signed in February and its Dupont Circle location. In May, WeWork opened its K Street location and its WeLive residential community in Crystal City.

The deal was brokered by Cushman & Wakefield's Brian Tucker, Moe Hamilton and John Dragelin, apparently before Brian and John jumped ship to JLL
